Update – New Guidelines for HPV Testing on Medi-Cal Patients

As your partner in Women’s Health and Cytology, DPMG is committed to providing you with the latest information from
Medi-Cal in regards to age and frequency for HPV testing.
Effective for dates of service on or after October 1, 2015, human papillomavirus (HPV) testing codes 87624 (HPV high-risk) and 87625 (genotyping for 16, 18/45) are reimbursable once every five years for recipients 30 through 65 years of age.
