Kim L. Wang, M.D.

Dr. Wang joined DPMG in 2006. She obtained her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, IL. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and a fellowship in Genitourinary pathology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL. She also completed a fellowship in Gastrointestinal pathology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. Dr. Wang is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and she currently serves as the Clinical Laboratory Medical Director at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento.”


Anna K. Wong, M.D.

Dr. Anna K. Wong received her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. She completed her Residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, followed by completion of a Fellowship in Hematopathology at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Wong served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pathology at the University of California, San Diego, and the Associate Director of Transfusion Medicine and Co-Director of the Immunogenetics Laboratory at the VA San Diego. Currently, she serves as a member of the College of American Pathologists Hematology/Clinical Microscopy Resource Committee. Dr. Wong joined DPMG in 2012. She is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Hematopathology.

Hannah Wong, M.D.

Dr. Hannah Wong joined DPMG in 2012. She received her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, California. She completed her Residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, and Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Wong also completed a Fellowship in Hematopathology at the City of Hope National Medical Center, Duarte, California. Dr. Wong is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Hematopathology. She currently serves as the Medical Director of Sutter Medical Foundation Roseville Oncology Laboratory and Sutter Medical Foundation Urgent Care Laboratory.


Mark R. Wolz, MD

Dr. Wolz joined DPMG in 2023. He received his medical degree from University of Utah School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology followed by a fellowship in Cytology at the University of New Mexico Department of Pathology. Dr. Wolz is Board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and currently serves as the Medical Director for Carson Tahoe Hospital.


Alae Yaseen, M.D.

Dr. Yaseen joined DPMG in 2020. He earned his medical degree from Kufa University, Iraq and his master’s degree in Human Genetics from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Yaseen completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at University of Louisville, Kentucky. He completed a Surgical Pathology fellowship at University of California, Davis. He completed a fellowship in Hematopathology at University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Dr. Yaseen is Board-certified in Anatomic, Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology.


Fangyuan Fred Zhang, M.D.

Dr. Zhang joined DPMG in 2022. He received his medical degree from Beijing Medical University, Beijing, China. Dr. Zhang completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at North Shore University Hospital at New York University Medical School, Manhasset, New York. He completed a fellowship in Cytopathology at the University of Kentucky Hospitals, Lexington, Kentucky. Prior to joining DPMG, he served as an assistant professor and cytology service director at the University of Florida-Jacksonville, also as a medical director in private practice in Kansas. He currently serves as the clinical laboratory medical director at Mercy General Hospital, Sacramento, Ca.
Dr. Zhang is Board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology.


Zhen Yan, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Yan joined DPMG in 2018. He obtained his medical degree from Wuhan University School of Medicine in Wuhan, China and his graduate degree at Tongji Medical College in Wuhan, China. Dr. Yan began his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. He completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Liver and GI Pathology. Dr. Yan served as a Clinical Instructor at the University of California, San Francisco with a focus on GU, Head and Neck Pathology. Dr. Yan is Board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and currently serves as Clinical Laboratory Medical Director at Sutter Solano Medical Center.
