Mary E. Keohane, M.D.

Dr. Keohane joined DPMG in 2001. She obtained her medical degree at the University College, Cork, Ireland. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, N.Y., N.Y., and a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Keohane is Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.


Long Li, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Li joined DPMG in 2020. He received his medical degree from Peking University Health Science Center, Beijing, China, followed by a graduate degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center, New Orleans. Dr. Li completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center , Dallas. He completed a fellowship in Surgical Pathology from University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, followed by a fellowship in Breast-Gynecologic Pathology from Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Li is Board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and currently serves as the Clinical Laboratory Medical Director at Sutter Auburn Faith Community Hospital, Auburn, CA.


Ly Ma, M.D.

Dr. Ma joined DPMG in 2020. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Roseau, Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Ma completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital/Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ. He completed a Cytopathology fellowship at UTMB, Galveston, TX followed by a Surgical Pathology fellowship at University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston.
Dr. Ma is Board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. He currently serves as Medical Director of DPMG’s histology laboratory and Sutter Medical Foundation Microbiology Laboratory.


Derek K. Marsee, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Marsee joined DPMG in 2010 and has served as President since 2012. He received his medical and graduate degrees from the Ohio State University. Dr. Marsee completed his residency in Anatomic Pathology and a fellowship in Hematopathology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as a fellowship in Dermatopathology in the Combined Harvard Dermatopathology Program (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital). Dr. Marsee is Board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Hematopathology, and Dermatopathology. Dr. Marsee served as the President of the California Society of Pathologists from 2018-2020.
